A helicopter of the Russian Aerospace Forces was lifted from the bottom of the Kyiv Reservoir.

The video featuring the wreckage of the destroyed aircraft being lifted from the water by a crane was released on social media.

Most likely, this is the hull of the Russian Mi-35M attack helicopter, which was lifted near the city of Vyshgorod.

Ukrainians have shot down several Russian helicopters over the Kyiv Sea in the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion. Several such moments were even caught on video. On March 1, 2022, the Ukrainian military struck the enemy unit with the Stinger MANPADS.

Mi-35M is a Russian transport and combat helicopter jointly developed by Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant and Rostvertol.

It is produced both for export and for the needs of the Russian Defense Ministry. It is intended for the destruction of armored vehicles, fire support of ground forces, landing operations, evacuation of the wounded, as well as transportation of cargo.
