An interview with Major General Kyrylo Budanov, Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, was published by RBK-Ukraine agency.
During a conversation with journalists, the head of Ukraine's military intelligence said that the end of the war against russia will be the exit of Ukraine to its borders as of 1991 year. It may happen the next year.
"This will be the end of this gamble that Russia has made," Kyrylo Budanov said.
According to him, the first results of a turning point in the war will be on August of this year.
"At the end of the year, active hostilities will decrease. But this will not be yet the end," the Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine said.
Also, Major General Kyrylo Budanov talked about the scenarios of changes in the leadership of the russian federation, the behavior of the russian elites, and the prospects of the disintegration of russia into separate parts.
